Terms and Conditions (Last Updated October 2026)
1. About these terms
These terms apply to every booking made through this website for Orange Hill Studios, Brentford. By making a booking you agree to them.
We are Orange Hill Studio Ltd, 6 Brook Lane Business Centre, Brentford, TW8 0PP. Company number 14413807. You can contact us at orangehillstudio@gmail.com or on 07464 187824.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
2. Your account
You need an account to book. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for every booking made through your account.
The details you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
3. Making a booking
Rooms are booked by the hour through our online calendar.
When you choose a time we hold it for 15 minutes while you pay. If you haven’t paid by then, the hold is released and the time may be taken by someone else.
A booking is confirmed once payment is complete and you have received our confirmation email.
A booking that starts before 8pm and runs past 8pm must be at least 3 hours long.
You must be 18 or over to book. Under-18s may attend only with a responsible adult, aged 18 or over, who made the booking and stays for the whole session.
4. Prices and payment
The price is shown at checkout before you pay. We are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to prices.
Payment is taken in full when you book, by card (processed securely by Stripe) and/or with account credit under clause 7.
Bookings of 4 hours or more receive a 12% discount, shown at checkout.
If we change our prices, the change does not affect bookings you have already paid for.
5. Your session
Setting up and packing down must fit within your booked time. The next customer may arrive at your end time.
If you arrive late, your session still ends at the booked time and we cannot refund the time missed.
If you overrun, we may charge for the extra time at the standard hourly rate for the room, for each hour or part hour. We will charge the card or account used to book.
Although we don’t restrict a maximum number of people in your session, we recommend that the rooms comfortably accommodate 5 people.
Please leave the room tidy and as you found it. We may charge a reasonable cleaning fee if it is left in an unreasonable state.
6. Automated Door access (Coming in 2027)
- If you can’t get in call 07464 187824.
7. Cancelling or changing a booking
To cancel, email us at orangehillstudio@gmail.com from the email address on your account. The time we receive your request counts as the cancellation time.
If you cancel at least 24 hours before the session starts, we will give you account credit for 50% of the amount you paid. If you cancel later, or don’t turn up, there is no refund or credit.
Account credit can only be used towards future bookings on this website. It is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Account credit does not expire.
We can’t move a booking. To change one, cancel it under this clause and make a new booking, subject to availability.
Because a booking is for a specific date and time, the 14-day cancellation right that applies to many online purchases does not apply. This is an exception in the Consumer Contracts Regulations for leisure services booked for a specific date.
8. If we have to cancel
If we have to cancel or shorten your booking, for example because of a fault or an emergency, we will tell you as soon as we can and you can choose a full refund (to your original payment method, and any credit used returned to your account) or a free rebooking.
We are not responsible for other costs you incur as a result, such as travel or hiring other equipment, except where the law says we are.
9. Looking after the studio
Please treat the equipment and rooms with care and report any fault or damage to us promptly.
You may be charged for damage beyond normal wear and tear caused by you or your group.
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building. Vaping is tolerated within your session booking. Illegal drugs are strictly not allowed.
Alcohol is permitted. You may bring alcohol for adults to drink responsibly. We don’t sell alcohol, no one under 18 may drink, and we may end a session if anyone becomes unsafe.
Please keep noise to the agreed levels and be considerate of neighbours and other users. Follow the emergency and fire instructions displayed in the studio. In an emergency call 999, then tell us on 07464 187824.
24 hour CCTV operates in all areas for safety and security. Recordings are kept for upto 3 months.
We may end a session without refund if behaviour is unsafe, abusive or breaks these terms.
10. Your belongings
You bring equipment and belongings at your own risk. We are not liable for loss or damage to them unless caused by our negligence.
We keep items left behind for 14 days. Contact us to collect them. After that we may dispose of or donate the items.
11. Recordings and music
You own the recordings you make in your session.
Engineering, production or mixing services are not included unless booked and paid for separately.
You are responsible for having the rights to any music, samples or material you perform or record.
12. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Otherwise, our liability to you for a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it.
13. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for failing to provide a session because of something beyond our reasonable control, such as power or internet failure, fire, flood, severe weather or an equipment breakdown. If that happens, clause 8 applies.
14. Your information
We use your information as described in our privacy policy link. Marketing emails are sent only if you have agreed to them, and you can opt out at any time.
15. Complaints
If something goes wrong, please tell us at orangehillstudio@gmail.com and we’ll reply within 5 working days.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version live when you booked applies to that booking.
17. Law
The law of England and Wales governs these terms, and disputes go to its courts. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also use your local courts.
